Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez who had been reportedly working on their relationship after reports of an apparent split hit the news, have officially called off their engagement on Thursday.
Issuing a joint statement to the media, the former couple said, that they have realized that they are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.
The statement further added that they will continue to work together and support each other on their shared businesses and projects.
Alex & Jennifer officially started dating in early 2017.
