A Jaipur family court has granted divorce to IAS couple Tina Dabi and her husband Athar Amir Khan, on mutual consent. The couple had filed for divorce in November 2020.

The two 2016-batch IAS toppers got married in Jaipur in March 2018. The wedding hit the headlines after several high-profile political leaders were seen attending the ceremony and congratulating them online. The controversy started when the Hindu Mahasabha called their marriage 'love jihad'

The couple had earlier said that they had fallen in love during their training period. Tina Dabi and Athar Khan are both IAS officers of the Rajasthan cadre and are currently posted in Jaipur.
