In reply, the Knight Riders once again made changes to their batting line up but failed to put up a fight. Washington Sundar and Chris Morris picked up 2 wickets each which tightened the noose around the KKR batsmen. The 2-time IPL champions were restricted to 112/9 and lost the match by 82 run loss which is the biggest margin of defeat in IPL 2020 and the 3rd biggest loss in KKR's 13-year long history.
