Rajasthan Royals have roped in West Indies' duo of Oshane Thomas and Evin Lewis for the second leg of IPL 2021, due to start in UAE

from September 19. Evin Lewis played two seasons in the IPL for Mumbai Indians in 2018 and 2019, scoring 430 runs from 16 games. On the other hand, it will be a second stint with the Rajasthan franchise for Oshane Thomas, who played 4 games in 2019 for the Royals, before being released.

The fast bowler and opening batter were brought in as replacements for Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes. While the English wicketkeeper  pulled out of IPL 2021 as he and his wife are expecting their second child this month, Stokes is on an indefinite break from cricket to look after his mental health.
