Hardik Pandya missed the two matches for Mumbai Indians after the resumption of IPL. Mumbai’s bowling coach Shane Bond mentioned that the team is managing Team India’s needs with that of the franchise.

Bond said that Hardik is likely to be fit and play in the next match and trained with the team on Friday. Although BCCI hasn’t given any clear directive to Mumbai Indians about his workload management, the team is playing safe with Hardik not wanting him to injure himself again.

Hardik is a part of India's World Cup squad and is expected to bowl in every game. He has faced issues with his bowling ever since the back surgery last year.
