IPL 2021, DC vs SRH, Natarajan tests positive for Covid-19

After just 3 games of the UAE leg of IPL 2021, Covid-19 has once again rocked the cash-rich league. Ahead of their match against the Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer T Natarajan tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed BCCI on Wednesday.

Natarajan, who is asymptomatic is currently under self-isolation. The Indian board further informed that Vijay Shankar along with 5 other franchise members who have been identified as close contacts have also been isolated. The entire Hyderabad squad took RT-PCR Test on Wednesday morning. SRH however, will resume their IPL campaign against Delhi Capitals as per schedule.

Natarajan had missed the India leg of IPL 2021 due to injury and was returning to the squad for the 2nd leg in UAE.
