Glenn Maxwell who was at the helm of RCB's title chase this season ended his 2021 IPL season on a bitter note. The Australian cricketer lashed out at trolls for spreading abuse on social media after RCB was knocked out of IPL. After the disheartening loss against KKR, Maxwell first thanked the 'real' RCB fans, and then he called out those who were trolling him and his RCB teammates.

Hitting out at the trolls, he posted a note where he said, 'Some of the garbage that has been flowing on social media is absolutely disgusting. It further read, 'if you comment abuse on any of my teammates' profile, you will be blocked by everyone'
