IPL 2021, CSK Vs SRH, CSK beat SRH: After a forgettable last season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday became the first team book a berth in the playoffs of IPL 2021 as they beat SRH by 6 wickets.
Put into bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batters once again failed to deliver and were restricted to mere 134/7. Chennai was off to a strong start as Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed 45. Faf du Plessis also scored 41 but SRH pulled things back with 4 quick wickets. But CSK still managed to win in the final over as MS Dhoni finished off in style with a 6. Chennai has now won 9 of their 11 games and have made it to the playoffs for the 11th time in the 12 seasons they have participated in.
