Apple's market share of iPhones fell from the second spot to the fourth spot globally in Q2 2021, says a report from TrendForce.
The data signals that the decline in global market share is due to a dip in iPhone production, and with Apple falling down the ranks, Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi took the top 3 spots.
The report says iPhone market share dropped to 13.7% in the second quarter, pointing out that the dip in production was due to the second quarter being the transition period between the outgoing iPhone model and the upcoming series.
