iPhone 12 series crosses 100 million mark in sales: Counterpoint

The iPhone 12 series’ cumulative global sales have crossed the 100 million mark, according to market research firm Counterpoint.

Apple crossed this milestone in seven months following the iPhone 12 launch, two months earlier than they did with the iPhone 11 series.

Counterpoint also says that the iPhone 12 Pro Max was the most popular variant, accounting for 29% of all sales.

They claim that the iPhone 12 series was less affected due to the pandemic than the iPhone 11 series, and many customers who had held out on upgrading the year before, finally upgraded to the iPhone 12.
