Many Indians may cancel international travel plans in the wake of the new variant of coronavirus and possibility of flight bans by nations like Singapore, France and Dubai, a survey by LocalCircles has revealed.
The survey included over 15000 responses from more than 10,000 people spread over 204 districts. Of the 7820 responses received for the first question, 71% said they had no plans to travel internationally in the next 3 months, 2% said they were booked and will travel while 2% said they were booked but may cancel based on the Covid-19 situation.
Another 16% said they had plans but won't travel due to Covid while 7% said they may travel based on the Covid situation. Overall, it concluded that two thirds planning international travel in the next 3 months may not do so.
