Indian cricketer Mayank Aggarwal has been ruled out of the first Test against England after he suffered a hit on the back of his head during the net sessions. The 30-year-old who was playing to Mohammad Siraj's in the nets, injured himself when he took his eyes off the ball.

He underwent the concussion test. While he has shown signs of concussion, the opening batsman is currently stable and will remain under close medical observation, said BCCI secretary Jay Shah. The 5-match Test series vs England is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
