From being India's first woman para shooter to selling biscuits and chips by the roadside to make ends meet, Dilraj Kaur has seen it all.

34-year-old Kaur has won many accolades at the national and international levels but her financial hardships have forced her to resort to selling snacks at a roadside stall near Gandhi Park in Dehradun.

Despite her several appeals for jobs on the basis of her achievements, Kaur said that she hasn't received any help from the govt.

'When it was the country's need I was there, but now when I am in need, there is no one', said the heartbroken para-athlete who has won over 28 Gold medals at national level.
