Covid-19 cases in India continued to fall on Sunday as the daily number of infections dipped further. 43,071 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry update.
The daily positivity rate is at 2.34 per cent. It has stayed less than 5 per cent for 27 straight days.
955 people succumbed to the disease in the 24 hours period.
Active Covid cases have declined to 4.85 lakh in India and constitute 1.59 per cent of total infections
Daily recoveries continued to outnumber the new infections for the 52nd consecutive day. The recovery rate has now increased to 97.09 per cent.
