Amid an investigation into the death of a 20-year-old woman in Delhi after she was allegedly dragged by a car for 13 km, her family has reportedly claimed that a robbery took place at their house.

They blamed victim Anjali's friend Nidhi, who had apparently been with her during the accident.

A relative of the victim said, "We received a phone call from the neighbours at around 7:30 am that our house has been robbed. We suspect that Nidhi planned the robbery. We don't have any such thing (related to the case) in our house. She (Nidhi) might have something with her which she might want to plant in our house."

Questioning the role of cops, she said, "There was heavy police deployment in the area for the last 8 days. Then, why were police not present on the night of robbery?"
