Nearly two weeks after a woman was killed after allegedly being dragged under a car for 13 km in Delhi, 11 police personnel were suspended.

Six of the cops suspended for negligence were posted on PCR (police control room) duty, and five were manning pickets at the time of the accident. Those punished include two sub-inspectors, four assistant sub-inspectors, four head constables, and one constable from Rohini district police.

The incident took place on 1 January 2023 when 20-year-old Anjali's scooty was allegedly hit by a car, and she got caught in the undercarriage.
