Dharmanjot Singh Kahlon, who allegedly supplied weapons for Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, was detained in the US.

Indian authorities will reportedly soon launch a bid to work with the FBI and extradite Kahlon to India. He is wanted in a case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

The arms supplier, who is believed to be well-connected to gangsters Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, is accused of smuggling advanced weapons.

Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022 in Punjab. His car was mobbed by the killers, who then opened fire using automatic weapons.

While Bishnoi is currently detained in Bathinda central jail, Brar is still on the run. Reports suggest that he is hiding in Canada.

Meanwhile, a sessions court in the Mansa district kicked off a trial against 25 individuals who are accused of being connected to Moosewala’s brutal murder. Bishnoi was also on trial.
