Action has been initiated against Mainpuri Chief Medical Officer Prem Pal Singh after his video of applauding nurses who danced to the tunes of Bollywood numbers on the occasion of World Nurses Day 2023 went viral, the Times of India reported.
In the now-viral video, a group of people is seen sitting including the CMO while a nurse dances. The entire incident took place inside the hospital premises. Mainpuri CMO was invited as a chief guest for the program, the report added.
Uttar Pradesh's deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has ordered a probe into the matter. More details are awaited.
