Prime Minister of the United Kingdom visited a JCB factory in Gujarat on April 21. During his two-day India visit, Boris Johnson travelled to the Halol industrial area near Vadodara.

The occasion was the inauguration of a new facility of UK-based Joseph Cyril Bamford Excavators Ltd. Johnson also climbed onto an earthmoving machine, and waved for the cameras. The UK PM was accompanied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Earlier in the day, Johnson had met Indian industrialist Gautam Adani. The meeting occurred at Adani Group's global headquarters at Shantigram on the outskirts of Ahmedabad city.

Key sectors such as energy transition, climate action, aerospace and defence collaboration were discussed by Johnson and Adani, as per PTI quoting sources.
