Watch: Indian Railways' North East-bound tourist train is a traveller's paradise

The Ministry of Railways recently gave first glimpse of its latest luxurious train Bharat Gaurav Deluxe which is bound for the North East.

The deluxe AC train departed from New Delhi on March 21 to complete a circuit under the theme North East discovery beyond Guwahati.

The train is reportedly on a 15-day tour to the region during which it will cover Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Kaziranga in Assam; Unakoti, Agartala, and Udaipur in Tripura; Dimapur and Kohima in Nagaland; and Shillong and Cherapunji in Meghalaya 
.
With a capacity of 156 tourists, the train has a mini library, fine dining facility restaurant and other modern amenities including sensor based washroom, shower cubicles in coaches. The inside view of the lavish train which has AC-1 and AC-2 accomodations will certainly give you 5-star hotel feels.

The train fare ranges from ₹ 1,06,990 per person in AC 2-tier, ₹ 1,31,990 per person in AC-1 cabins, and ₹ 1,49,290 per person in an AC-1 coupe which includes hotel stays, train journeys, sight seeing, travel insurance, meals, NDTV reported.
