The foster parents from the Oscar-winning documentary 'The Elephant Whisperers' received an overwhelming welcome on an Indigo flight.
In a viral clip on social media, Bomman and Bellie were greeted with applause by the crew and passengers of the plane bound for Ooty.
The clip shows the pilot congratulating the couple for the Academy Award feat saying that people like Bommai and Bellie are not actors but real people behind heart-touching stories like 'The Elephant Whisperers'.
In response, the couple can be seen expressing their gratitude with folded hands to everyone on the plane.
Directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga, 'The Elephant Whisperers' is a tale of two orphan baby elephants and their foster family.
