A BMW burst into flames in the middle of the road in Chennai bringing traffic to a standstill for nearly 30 minutes.
According to media outlets, the driver of the BMW GT stopped the car and got down from it after noticing smoke coming out of the car's bonnet.
The high-end car was engulfed in fire within moments. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames but the BMW was completely gutted.
Several videos of the green-coloured car on fire are going viral on the internet.
