A 12-year-old boy had a close encounter with a leopard but his quick thinking made him a hero. This incident took place in Maharashtra's Nashik on Tuesday at 6 am. As the leopard came wandering inside an office cabin, the boy quickly locked it till help arrived.
Mohit Ahire, the 12-year-old boy is the son of a wedding hall security guard. The incident of the boy locking the leopard was caught on camera.
The video shows Mohit engrossed in a mobile game inside the office of the wedding hall when a leopard enters the room and goes past the boy. Mohit stayed calm and locked the door behind him.
Ahire then informed his father about the leopard. This prompted a swift response from the authorities. Forest officers from the Malegaon range coordinated with the Nashik City team to tranquilise and rescue the five-year-old male leopard.
