Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hit back at Prime Minister Narendra's Modi charge that Rahul Gandhi has gone silent on naming industrialists Adani and Ambani in his election rallies. Speaking to reporters in Raebarelli on Thursday reminded Modi that Rahul has been taking their names quite often.
"It seems that even PM Modi is compelled to take their names. What he said, that Rahul Gandhi has stopped taking their names, is absolutely wrong. He is speaking about them every day."
Responding to Modi's claims that once the Congress government comes to power it will "put the Babri lock on the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya" statement, she said, "This is a blatant lie. Congress has said again and again that everyone will respect the decision (of the Supreme Court) and that is what we have done and will continue to do."
