Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday emphasised the need for swift and transparent resolution of public grievances, asserting that addressing the problems of citizens is his government's top priority.

He issued the directions at the second 'Janta Darshan' held at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur in two days. He met around 200 people at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, according to an official statement.

The CM listened attentively to people's grievances and issued immediate instructions to the officials concerned for prompt and satisfactory redressal.

He called for "swift and transparent resolution of public grievances", asserting that addressing the problems of people is the top priority of the state government.

"The redressal of every public issue must be timely, transparent and result-oriented. Any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated," the chief minister told the officials.

Emphasising the need for ensuring justice for the underprivileged, Adityanath ordered strict legal action against those involved in land grabbing or harassment of weaker sections.

"No one has the right to oppress the poor or encroach on others' property. Such elements must be dealt with firmly," he said.

Several people sought financial assistance for medical treatment during the 'Janta Darshan'.

Adityanath assured them that the government was committed to supporting their healthcare needs. He asked officials to expedite the estimation process for their treatment and submit it to the government at the earliest.
