Tahawwur Rana, a Pakistani-Canadian businessman wanted in India for his alleged role in the 26/11 terror attack, recently suffered a legal setback.

Rana, currently jailed in the United States of America, is facing a legal battle after the US government moved a court for his extradition to India.

Rana, in March 2023, had sought a court-ordered meeting between the defence and prosecution to discuss the case and a plea bargain.

The court on April 17, 2023, dismissed the motion, stating that it expects to deliver a ruling within 30 days.
