Ukraine Russia War: Indian students beaten up at Poland border crossing, claim viral videos

In startling visuals purportedly emerging from Ukraine, some Indian students were allegedly harassed and beaten up by Ukrainian soldiers.

The videos went viral on social media, with users stating that the visuals were shot at the Ukraine-Poland border. People were heard shouting, and a person was heard saying that girls are being beaten up.

Indian students who were allegedly harassed at the border claimed that they were not allowed to cross over into Poland, as per reports. An NDTV report quoted a student as saying that women students were dragged by their hair and hit with rods. She said that some students suffered injuries, and even fractures. 

The student claimed that she was heading back to her hostel after not being allowed to go to Poland, as per the NDTV report.

The Indian government has sent teams to Ukraine's land borders to facilitate the evacuation of Indian citizens from Ukraine. A few flights have already arrived in India from Ukraine's neighbouring countries, carrying evacuated nationals.
