Tributes from across the country were poured in for the DMDK founder-leader Vijayakanth.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on on December 28 announced full state honours for DMDK founder-leader Vijayakanth's funeral.

In his condolence message, Stalin expressed shock and grief over Vijayakanth's death and hailed him as an achiever; both as an actor and as a leader in public life.

Remembering his memories with Vijayakanth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi put a heartfelt post on his Social media X saying that Vijayakanth had been his good friend and he has put a huge impact on the political landscape of Tamil Nadu.
