In a shocking twist to the kidnapping of a 18-year-old woman in Telanaga, Police investigation has revealed that she faked her kidnapping to marry her boyfriend.

The woman identified as Shalini released a video on social media saying she staged the kidnapping as her parents opposed her marriage to a Dalit man.

“We got married one year ago. Since I was a minor back then, my parents didn’t accept it and filed a case against my husband. Now we are adults, so we got married. They are still objecting since my husband is a Dalit," the girl stated in the video, also requesting police security.
