Granting brief relief to Teesta Setalvad, the 3-judges SC bench on Saturday stayed Gujarat High Court order demanding Setalvad to surrender immediately.
The top court has SC directed the registry to obtain orders from CJI for listing bail plea of Setalvad before appropriate bench
The development comes after Setalvad moved the apex court after Gujarat HC rejected her regular bail plea on Saturday.
Following this, the SC bench hearing her plea referred her matter to larger bench as two judges differred on Gujarat HC ruling.
