Sudan: Congress tells PM Modi 30 Indians stuck without food, not getting govt aid

With Sudan gripped by a violent crisis, Congress leader Siddaramaiah appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to rescue Indians stranded in the African nation.

The former Chief Minister of Karnataka on April 18, 2023 said that more than 30 people from the state, belonging to the Hakki Pikki tribe are stuck in Sudan.

Siddaramaiahm claimed that they don't even have food, and the government is yet to take action to bring them back.

More than 180 people have died and 1,800 injured in 4 days of fighting between Sudan's armed forces and rival paramilitary.
