Windowpane of an executive class coach of the Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Vande Bharat Express was damaged due to stone pelting in Odisha on November 26.
The incident was reported by the on-duty RPF Escorting Staff after which local police were also been informed.
No one was hurt in the incident. In a statement, the railways said that police are trying to trace the culprits and strict action will be taken against them.
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Similar incidents have been reported in the past in which the premium train was vandalised.
