Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Abhishek Ghosalkar succumbed to his injuries after he was shot at during a Facebook live in Mumbai on Thursday. According to reports, the attacker later died by suicide.
Abhishek was live on Facebook with a man named Mauris Noronha when the latter fired at him.
The two were discussing how they had come together to help poor people and went on to add that they were going distribute sarees after ending their Facebook live.
Abhishek, himself a former corporator, was rushed to hospital and was undergoing treatment, he added.
