Several states protest against fuel hike as prices continue to surge

As the prices of petrol and diesel along with LPG, CNG continue to surge, several opposition parties across the country are taking to the streets.

The states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab saw protests against rising fuel prices on Thursday.

More than a thousand DMK protestors were arrested in Puducherry when they tried to blockade the assembly against the hike.

Fuel prices have been hiked across the country with over ₹10 hike in the last 17 days.
