Scorecards of 1,563 NEET-UG candidates cancelled, retest to be held: NTA to SC

Amid the allegations of irregularities in NEET-Undergraduate 2024, the National Testing Agency on Thursday told the Supreme Court that the scorecards of 1,563 candidates will be cancelled.

It said that a committee was formed to review the results of the students who were given grace marks owing to a discrepancy in one of the questions.

The NTA said that the candidates will be given the option to take a retest. It said that the retest will be conducted on June 23 and results will be declared before June 30.

The Supreme Court reiterated that it won't stay the counselling process which is set to begin in July.
