The Supreme Court has granted Nupur Sharma's request to club all the police cases against her and has transfered them to the Delhi Police.

Cases were registered against her in several states after her controversial remarks over Prophet Mohammad that lead to violent protests across India.

The Supreme Court said it had agreed to Nupur Sharma's plea considering she faces threat to her life.

The court has also granted Sharma protection from arrest till the Delhi Police completes their investigation.

It has also allowed Sharma to move Delhi High Court for quashing of FIRs lodged over her remark.
