Revanth Reddy takes oath as Chief Minister of Telangana

Anumula Revanth Reddy on December 7 took oath as Chief Minister of Telangana, becoming the first Congress CM of the state.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to him at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu took oath as the Deputy CM.

Apart from CM and his deputy, 11 other leaders took oath as cabinet ministers.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi attended the swearing-in ceremony.
