Days after gangster brothers Atiq-Ashraf were killed outside a medical college in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, the Yogi government on Wednesday suspended five cops.
As per news agency ANI Shahganj, SO Ashwani Kumar Singh is among the suspended cops. This comes after the SIT questioned all the police personnel including the SO on Tuesday.
Notably, Atiq and Ashraf were both gunned down in police custody when they were interacting with the media on April 15.
