A rally to support Tibetan Buddhist leader Dalai Lama was organised in West Bengal's Siliguri on April 19, 2023.
The rally was organised in response to the backlash that Dalai Lama faced after his video with a small child went viral. The protestors alleged that the video was a conspiracy to defame the Tibetan leader.
In the viral video, the Dalai Lama first kissed the boy on the lips and then asked him to suck his tongue.
The Tibetan leader later apologised.
