Rajnath Singh, Anurag Thakur clean floors at temples after PM's appeal | Watch

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on January 16 participated in a cleanliness drive at the Hanuman Setu temple in Lucknow. Singh was seen cleaning the floor of the temple premises with a broom. Singh paid obeisance at the temple.

BJP MP Anurag Thakur was also seen sweeping and cleaning the floor at Hanuman temple in Delhi on the same day. 

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to carry out cleanliness drives at temples and places of religious importance ahead of the January 22 consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Talking to reporters, Singh said, it is matter of joy for people that the consecration ceremony is being held. In the event, not only people from the country but also from abroad will participate, Singh said.
