SC sets aside Chandigarh mayoral poll result, declares AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar winner

The Supreme Court on 20th February declared Aam Aadmi Party's Kuldeep Kumar as the mayor of Chandigarh. The court set aside the election results declared by presiding officer Anil Masih. It said that the election officer is guilty of misdemeanour. A notice has been issued to Masih to show cause as to why steps should not be initiated against him under Section 340 of CrPC.
