Punjab CM Mann inaugurates state's first Institute of Liver and Billary Sciences in Mohali

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurate Punjab's inaugural Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in SAS Nagar on February 29th.

The institute, modelled after ILBS in New Delhi, has been erected at a cost exceeding Rs 40 crores. A substantial workforce of approximately 450 individuals, comprising 80 doctors, 150 staff nurses, and 200 group-D employees, will be dedicated to the institute.

The Institute, established at Phase 3B-1 in SAS Nagar, has been equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide super-speciality care, training and research in the field of Hepatology. 

This initiative underscores the commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region, providing specialized medical services to the people of Punjab.
