On the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama terrorist attack on February 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to the CRPF personnel who were killed.

In a spot on X, Modi said the service and sacrifice of the brave heroes for the nation will always be remembered.

As many as 40 jawans were killed on February 14, 2019 when Pakistan-linked terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy.

In a retributive strike, the Indian Air Force had bombed suspected terrorist camps in Pakistan's Balakot.
