During a press conference centred on the situation in Manipur, Rahul Gandhi had a light moment with a news reporter.
The reporter referred to Gandhi as Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, who was sitting next to the Wayanad MP.
Gandhi asked the reporter, "Are you greeting me with 'Jai Ram' or asking him?" He then greeted the scribe with a 'Jai Siya Ram'.
Subsequently, the reporter asked, "You (Gandhi) gave a 37-minute speech but you were shown on screen for only around 14 minutes. The camera didn't focus on you."
Gandhi replied, "There's a contradiction. Maybe PM doesn't want to see my face on TV. But then the PM talks about my video. I don't understand. Maybe PM doesn't like seeing my face on TV. It's not a problem. I said what I wanted to say. I have to do my work."
