Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Ahmedabad's hospital where his mother Heeraben breathed last on Friday morning.
PM was seen shouldering his mother's bier. Prime Minister climbed the ambulance as the mortal remains were put in the vehicle.
Heeraben used to live with PM Modi's younger brother, Pankaj Modi, at Raysan village near Gandhinagar.
Heeraben Modi, 100 died at a hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat two days after hospitalisation.
She was admitted due to health issues.
Meanwhile, PM Modi is schedule to launch host of development programme via video conferencing in West Bengal.
