Startling scenes of mob violence were witnessed in Andhra Pradesh on 20 February 2023.
A crowd armed with sticks was seen attacking a Telugu Desam Party office in Gannavaram, Vijayawada. An SUV parked outside the office was badly damaged.
The mob continued its attack even as outnumbered police personnel were seen trying to exert control. A car belonging to TDP General Secretary Koneru Sandeep was set on fire, according to news agency ANI.
