World leaders including Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak and others arrived for the G20 gala dinner hosted by President Murmu at the Bharat Mandapam on day one of the G20 Summit.

However, what caught the eyes of several leaders was the backdrop of ruins of Nalanda University in Bihar at the event.

Nalanda university ruins, a UNESCO world heritage site in Bihar, was one of the oldest universities of the world.

In one such incident, PM Modi was seen telling the US president about the backdrop, following which Biden goes closer to the backdrop to see it.

Earlier in the day too, PM Modi was seen briefing President Biden about the Konark wheel, seen as the backdrop of the stage set to welcome world leaders.
