Bulldozers arrived to raze the home of Zafar Ahmed, one of the accused in Umesh Pal murder and a close aide of Atiq Ahmed on Monday.
Umesh Pal, a witness to the 2005 killing of a BSP MLA Raju Pal was shot multiple times last Friday in broad daylight. Zafar Ahmed is missing since the shootout.
According to the cops, the sensational murder was planned by Atiq Ahmed, a former Samajwadi Party leader. Reports suggest Atiq Ahmed's wife and son were also in the bungalow.
On Monday, one of the accused was shot dead in a police encounter.
