A video of an interaction between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on stage during TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's oath ceremony has sparked a controversy.
As the clip went viral, many on social media, including BJP members, interpreted the interaction as an admonishment of Tamilisai by Shah over her recent comments.
Speaking to a YouTube channel, Tamilisai had suggested the BJP should have fought the elections in alliance with the AIADMK. This stood in contrast with Tamil Nadu state chief K Annamalai's stand.
