Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal was allegedly stopped from meeting the minor who was sexually assaulted repeatedly by an official in the city's Women & Child Development Dept.
Maliwal was stopped by doctors and cops at the hospital citing an order by senior officials.
After she was denied entry, Maliwal engaged in a heated argument with hospital staff and said she would continue to sit on dharna until she was allowed to meet the minor.
The minor was raped between Nov 2020 to January 2021.
